This workshop was held on 13-14 March 2008 with about 20 participants.

It aimed at enriching local aviation engineers’ knowledge on some advanced manufacturing technology for aircraft components so as to support the future development of Part Manufacturer Approval (PMA) system among HK manufacturers.

This workshop provided a precious opportunity for local aircraft engineers to understand the key to high-quality manufacturing and the applicability of innovative technology to aircraft components manufacturing. It strengthened their technology background in the production of both metal and plastic parts, which is beneficial to their daily operations.
