To congratulate our Honarory Chairman, the Director-General of Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong, Mr. Norman Lo, on being awarded the Medal of Aeronautics by the French government, HKAIA held a cocktail party in the Kowloon Club on 11th August 2009 with around 20 participants including the Honorary Chairman of HKAIA, Chairman of Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Mr.Cliff Sun, Honorary Advisor of HKAIA, Mr. David Lui, representative from Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong, and representatives from airline companies, as well as representatives from manufacturing companies.
 
The President of HKAIA, Mr. Jackson Ho gave a welcome speech to commence the evening. Mr. Norman Lo also delivered his speech, followed by a souvenir presentation to Mr. Norman Lo by Mr. Cliff Sun, Mr. Jackson Ho and the Vice President, Dr. Angus Cheung.
